Household Hazardous Waste Waste Collection Day - October 6, 2007

Grand Blanc Township has a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day in May and October each year. Information about the next date will be posted as soon as it is available.

Acceptable materials include

• old household pesticides
• herbicides
• solvents
• paint thinners
• aerosol cans
• oil-based paint
• motor oil
• mercury
• batteries
• corrosives
• old prescriptions

We will also be accepting up to seven (7) car/truck tires (no tractor or semi tires) at all locations. They must be off the rim!

Materials not accepted include:

• Explosive and radioactive materials
• medical waste
• commercial and industrial wastes
• latex paint

Two Locations:

1. Flint East - Water Service Center - 3310 E. Court Street; Opposite Consumer’s Energy between Center and Dort. Take I-69 to either Center or Dort exit, go North to Court Street.
2. Central Elementary in Davison - 600 S. State Street; Off of M-15 between Lexington & Clark

All sites will be open between the hours of 10:00am – 2:00pm only.
