Water Tower Rehabilitation Project

A note from our Director of Public Works, Jeff Sears:

Residents:

Grand Blanc Township has begun a two month long project to perform rehabilitation work and painting of the Saginaw St water tower located behind Township Hall. In order for this project to get started, the water tower had to be taken off line and drained so the contractor could work inside it. While the water tower is off line, residents connected to Township water located in the northern end of the Township ( North of Grand Blanc Rd west of the City and North of McCandlish Rd East of the City) may experience changes in their water pressure throughout the day as demand changes.

Please do not be alarmed, this is normal for this type of project.  The Grand Blanc Township Department of Public Works as well as Genesee County Water and Waste Services will be monitoring the water distribution system around the clock.

Please feel free to contact the Grand Blanc Township Department or Public Works with any questions or comments at (810) 424-2640 or Sears@twp.grand-blanc.mi.us
