DRINKING WATER SOURCE
The water comes from the same source as GLWA, Lake Huron, and in fact, the inlets for the pumping stations are just a few miles away from each other. The Treatment plants use the same methodology, mircofiltration and chlorination with fluoride, to treat the water and make sure it is safe.

Genesee County Water Treatment
Grand Blanc Township is required by law to test our drinking water for contaminants. These include bacteriological testing, water quality parameter testing, disinfections bi-products, lead and copper, UCMR4 testing, arsenic (emergency wells only), and many other non-regulated samples.
