South Dort Highway Extension Project Scheduled to begin July 13th in Grand Blanc Township

Flint, Michigan. ---

 The Genesee County Road Commission will begin construction of the South Dort Highway Extension – North Phase project in Grand Blanc Township on Monday, July 13, 2020.  The scope of work includes construction of 1.3 miles of brand new roadway, including three new roundabouts to connect Cook Road to NB I-75 Exit Ramp. 

During construction on Cook Road, Cook will be detoured utilizing Holly, Baldwin and Fenton Roads.  During construction on the NB & SB I-75 ramps to and from M-54, traffic will be detoured to the Holly exit, utilizing I-75, Holly Road, Saginaw Road and Grand Blanc Road.
